1993

Arriving in Malaysia

Andreas arrives in Kuala Lumpur with the United Nations Development Programme, working at the Economic Planning Unit of the Prime Minister's Department on the National Spatial Development Plan. He falls in love with the country, and later meets Najwa.

1997

A City On Fire

Now in market research in Indonesia, Andreas is caught in the Asian Financial Crisis - hiding on the floor of a car as riots and fires spread through the city, his newborn child waiting at home. Months later in Singapore, the same fear resurfaces live on CNBC, in front of the cameras. He didn't know it yet, but both moments were leading somewhere.

2003

Discovering NLP

Back in Malaysia and feeling stuck against a glass ceiling in HR consulting, Andreas is invited by Najwa to a weekend NLP seminar. Sitting in that room, the pieces fall into place: the fear in Indonesia, the fear on camera in Singapore - all of it had a structure. And what has a structure can be changed.

2005

Asia Mind Dynamics Is Founded

Asia Mind Dynamics is registered and begins certifying practitioners - becoming the pioneer of NLP certification training in Malaysia. It wasn't easy; NLP wasn't known in the market, and some mistook it for computer programming.

With 9,000+ combined training hours and alumni who've become CEOs, bestselling authors, and top national award winners, Asia Mind Dynamics remains a benchmark for NLP training in the region.
